i really like how mine flies. just gave it a little upgrde from Lynx 130 to Cheetah 160 :)

i don't think the controller senses servo power. its probably just mechanical setup.
can you upload some pics of your door linkage?

i have connected my JP gear input to my AR...

i have connected my JP gear input to my AR smoothflite (as it outputs 7.4V) - that way system off = gear off :)
