Film Panfilov's 28 Men using 1/16 Scale Model Tanks.

Have not watched the film yet, but from what I have seen in the trailer the film’s production designers worked smart, hard and technically clever with their 1/16 tank models to get the results they got.

I think I will watch the movie: I like the newest russian action movie productions so far (both the whole 'Space conquest' series and the WWII war movies....don't miss "T-34" if you haven't seen it yet), I find them enjoyable and kinda amusing with their self-celebration, pride and nationalism.

Good find. Saved it!

The trailer looked cool, lots of action and drama, but how did they get their 1/16 scale infantry figures to move like that? Mine just stand still.

I will watch the film this weekend and did see “T34”. I enjoy some of these modern WWII Russian films. They are a sincere look at their WWII history, good production design, well crafted film making. Generally, I like movies that use scale models and miniature sets as well as the current high tech, realistic animation films.
