I use the Powerbox Wire as it is heat resistant.

Yes on both models, but the cover is larger on the 339. The shim spaces the servo away from the flange on the fuse.

I use clevis's not ball links.
DON'T use accelerator when you glue the CA Hinges in place.
The struts are Okay, just offering a superior solution.
