Nearly - there's one more step. Using the receiver widget on the transmitter you set the 5-channel to start at channel 8. In the last photo in the post above it's shown as Output A Start.

You can run up to four receivers together, but they are not connected through the P2-BUS - it's all done on the transmitter receiver binding page. You do, of course, need to supply power to each one,...

An addition to Andy's notes on the receivers: you can bind up to four receivers to the model, in any combination, and it's a very simple process. No master-slave mode settings, etc. on the receivers.
