sounds like your kit was left out under rain by UPS ro whoever sent it to you.

Yes, it was. what a sight. it is still playing in my head like a movie. i flew her at the club, there must have been about 30 spectators/pilots. did it ever idle. i got her iddling at about 900 rpm....

She had her maiden yesterday. required few clicks for ailerons and elevator trim, then she flew level. Really stable plane.

that is actually not that bad. i think you can do it. why don't you cut the weak parts out and on your replacement part, cut out the parts that are on wood frame of plane, and then glue bridging...

ok, try the CA debonder, if not, you will need to work very slow and carefully with a dremel, and take your time, go back and forth between removing just a little at a time, and refitting it, kind of...
