The wing rack is mounted on hinges. This allows it to lay flat against the wall, if necessary.

For all that sheeting, the air frame is fairly light.. I did substitute 3/32 sheeting for the 1/8", aft of the cabin.

Mine balances nose heavy, as she sits. A 2.40 may balance out just right.

After painting the Vega, I hand rubbed the finish, and then applied a coat of wax. That's my "secret" to the finish.

I've been having great luck with Rustoleum and polyurethane. It's what I used on my Vega.

This Luscombe is my "next" plane. The fuselage is glassed in 1/2 oz cloth. I used polyurethane for resin.
