I use a plastic sheet template material I bought from the local arts supply store for cowl cutouts, stiff as say cartridge paper (to hold it's shape) and transparent enough to see...

Sullivan tailwheel install, it needs a hard point for mounting.

I used 1/8 marine ply, mark the outline of the sullivan mount block on the ply and make sure when you sand the plate to blend you...

Dual elevators in fuse + pull / pull rudder.

I binned all the tubes in the fuse and replaced with my own for the pull/pull. Moved the exit points forward.

Guys,

Got all my robart hinges in and glued - used the Gorilla glue in the finish. It's all worked out OK but it was a lot more work than I expected.

On kit quality issues I want to say mine...

Thanks for that, I now like youridea ofusing epoxy - get plenty in the hole then stand the plane vertical whilst it sets - nose up when gluing into tail then nose down for the flying...

What size robart pivot hinges to you use for the elevator / rudder? 1/8 or 3/16? Also how many in each 3 or 4?
