This was in regard to the 91 fx question about blubbering after running at high speed. The 4 stroke sounds like it will take some digging.

Iput 4-40 rod in, it fit and is smooth. My rudder flutter went away with the 4-40. It was easy and quick to change.

RE: Larger Revolver

My 70 does nice stall turns/hammerheads . You have to give the rudder input, just before stall. You may not be going straight line vertical, maybe the nose is toward you without realizing it?

RE: Larger Revolver

Don, I'm glad the 61 is working for you. (except for the tree) I had 5 great flights on my 70 yesterday. Northern MN 86 degrees 3mph wind down the runway, and not a cloud in the sky. A rare day.

RE: Larger Revolver

I think it wouldn't be a good option, for example a Goldberg Tiger 60 has a 70" span and weighs 7lbs. Mine with a 91 4 stroke weighs 10lbs. That's a lot of extra weight to be pulling with a 60.

Slow and steady, Isort of agree, Ihave put largerengine in, and it seems that their idle and vibration alone can overstress the airframe. It is a larger stress than a speced engine.
Iput a 60 on a...
