The fiberglass is overkill. And frankly too much work with the cloth etc.

Another option is to use round dowels epoxied through the firewall into the substructure of the airframe. The triangle...

Allright here is some factual info from my plane.

It is a Mejzlik prop. The pitch is 16x12. On a tuned pipe it turns 9150 RPM on the ground. In the air unloaded the engine turns 10,500 RPM.

Again I am guessing on the prop. I will provide better info when I get home. I know the plane is fast and he experimented with different prop combinations to achieve the best speed and performance....

Nope has factory gear (beefed up) and not sure but I think it has an IMAC APC 17x6 prop. Will give more details when I get home. We have 2 more of these at my home field in Fort Worth, Texas as well....
