RE: Larger Revolver

The same thing happened to me with my little Toni. I sent the Rx back to horizon. They said it wouldn't range check properly so they sent me back a new one. Got a new Toni and it flew fine then the...

RE: Larger Revolver

Glad you are liking your 2X the recommended power revolver. Ha ha. How is it on take off? Mine was like it got a swift kick in the *****. Was probably at flying speed within the first 5-10'. I miss it.

A few things you can try, 1 you can install a second battery and run a two battery system. #2, you can move your throttle SERVO onto ye servo tray. If you aren't already you can run two...

RE: Larger Revolver

I am turning +/- 13K. Low humidity 13,150 high humidity 12,700ish. It is an amazing little plane. For me almost every landing was a dead stick. Slow flight envelope was beautiful.

RE: Larger Revolver

Eganwp,
I found that the big revolver 180 combo was faster than my supersportster. Then I only have a 46ax on mine. Running a 10X6 with a Macs muffler. Not sure what the speed is but it moves...

RE: Larger Revolver

Slats,
This is for you. I have the 40 size mkII. Got it as my second plane after my trainer a few years back. Trainer was the alpha 40. Anyway I stripped it down and was using the radio until it...

RE: Larger Revolver

The 120AX and the Saito 180 are quite similar. They are both propped the same. Doubt I will get another revolver 70 though. Looking at the gp giant supersportster as a new home for my Saito 180.

RE: Larger Revolver

His ignorance is actually amusing. He probably is a good builder, a flier I really doubt. He puts a 120AX and seems worried. He said 'if it comes back'.

My revolver flies just as good as yours. Thanks for asking. And I will bet mine still has more air time on it.

Ttaylot63,

RE: Larger Revolver

Don,
If you are looking for slower flight use flaperons. Spoilerons will keep it stuck to the ground but do nothing as far as a slower approach. You can program in both if you go into flight...

RE: Larger Revolver

S+S,
Thanks for the link. But I am actually thinking more about the Twist 150. Mainly for financial reasons. H9 has chopped the price in half. It also states it can handle the 180. The funtana...

You might not need it, but you've got it. Try flying your planes. They are much more enjoyable that way. Have a good day sir.

RE: Larger Revolver

S+S,
You are probably right about the frequency. My goal wasn't to turnthis thing into a pylon racer. I wanted a point and shoot aircraft and vertical performance. I got that. Unfortunately also...
