I am having a few of these laser cut from 1.5mm aluminium to suit 90 - 100mm turbine diameter.
Mine will be for a Wren 54 / supersport but the bracket can be bent to close up or open up to suit...

For those of you that were looking for donor fuel tanks - here is a good solution I found.

Its a Lenor fabric conditioner 2 litre bottle that fits all the way back to the last former without any...

No need to glue, just use a large washer on the outside of the boom to increase the surface area of the fixing.

I have the Digitech ones and they are superb of grass! Rearward sprung action is the way to minimize the chances of you ripping your model apart - noseleg and mains.

I think those retracts are going to rip your mounting blocks straight out if you take off from grass any rougher than a snooker table!

Would be a shame to wreck the airframe and wings...

Whilst ive not flown mine yet, I used the trailing link Prolinx from Digitech and they are superb for this bird.

Did you guys fin that the smaller wing tube does not align well? I had to open up the whole and will later have to put a plywood plate inside the fuse once i set the incidence.

Im using Airpower 250 retracts (air up / air down) and they fit well.
Some people using them in Kuwait also.
I made a simple cheap vac former and made some new retract covers - not worked out...
