Update---I was able to saw away the two vertical pieces between the two forward nose gear formers to allow the nose gear retract to fit up inside of the fuselage---I'm now a happy camper as the way...

If I do install brakes I will probably go with Trim Aircraft wheels/brakes as these are the least expensive and have worked well for me in the past...

Grass is not a hard surface...:)...If I need to I'll hit the retract switch...:D...This is just a knock around plane that will be flown rarely if at all on AMA fields...I have a LARGE field behind...

BigTop---Yes, the supplied mounts will work fine if using two stroke prop engine on this model---But you are mistaken if you think that the supplied mounts will work with a turbine...They are not...

This is good to know as we can always add washers to the forward turbine mounting screws to give us the required down thrust---The Reaction 54 mount will be a good alternative for those of us that...

I used Dubro hinges and hinged the flaps toward the bottom of the flaps to lower the hinge line---I can get almost 90 degrees of throw by using these hinges. (Of course I won't use 90 degrees!!!;))

Yes---Im using the stopper and parts from a Dubro tank....However, I drilled out the holes in the Dubro stopper caps to accept larger 5/32" brass tubing as I don't like the wimpy small diameter brass...

Guys---Here is the info as written on the lable of the soap container---The cap is the one that came with the bottle but is modified...I have an extra but I ruined the cap by enlarging the hole too...

Flipping the prop just yields less thrust---Prop still works the same way just less efficiently...You need a reversed pitch prop...

Perhaps the prop versions of this plane will not exhibit the pitching problem due to the way the air is distibuted over and under the stab from the prop and not just totally under the stab as does...

With a flat stab airfoil I would think that the problem with the jet exhaust efflux causing a lifting moment of the stab would be magnified...
