One neat thing at that airshow was the US and German re-enactors having a battle on the ground while the 109 and P-47s made low passes over them.

In that picture of the Mustangs, they all ran up their engines at the same time, right towards the crowd. It almost knocked us over, but we loved it!:D ...and what a sound from all those Merlins!

Here's a few shots from the Michigan airshow. It was the best collection of warbirds I've ever seen! When it was time for the B-17s to taxi out they just kept coming and coming. I have a bunch more...

That must be an incredible sound!! What surpised me was how quiet the P-38 was.

I took this shot at the MAPS Museum airshow in Akron, Ohio the other day. It is very rare to see a Spitfire at an airshow here.
