Bald Eagle, I had to position my batteriey behind the wing tube. This is with a Super Bee. Most have come out a little nose heavy, so they have to position the batts as far back as possible.

The wing tube is 20mm. I just measured it with a digital caliper. It was actually 20.02mm. However, if you moved it around and checked other spots, it varied just a bit. However, it all avg....

I think my finished weight is around 14.5 lbs dry. May be 15. I weighed it, but do not remember. However, one could build it prob. closer to 13-13.5 lbs. I added a lot of stuff and did not skimp...

I had to grind the hole below the bump. This took it up into the bump, but it's not easy to see in pictures. So, if you need the clearence, I think you will be ok.

zak, I would not worry about them. Most don't use them. If long enough, use them for you canopy hold down.

Not sure why the link does not work, but just go there and look under the bottles. There is a section for Wide Mouth Bottles HDPE. Get the 2000ml.

I have a nalgene bottle 64oz that is shoved back against the wing tube. I have noticed no diffrence in the way it flys when full of fuel or almost empty. I would not worry about forming the fuel...
