Well, mine's all done. Finally. Recommended receiver batt, Spectrum AR7010 receiver, JR Sport 126MG servos all 'round, Eflite 110 motor, Castle ICE 110 ESC and 2 (total of 4) 5000mAh etc batteries...

With a little cleaning w/ light sandpaper (took about 90 secs) mine work just fine.

The floats look good to me. I've had them out but as I said haven't used them yet. I thought the bottoms were fine on mine but it couldn't hurt to reinforce them.
