Yea, I wouldn't want the residual thrust. This thread is old enough that anyone contemplating over a P20 was nuts, then 45 became the norm. I personally wouldn't fly it on anything bigger than a 45...

It's pretty obvious, its tapered, just slide it...

It's pretty obvious, its tapered, just slide it in till it stops.

The back of the tank nearly butts up against the front of the turbine, i've heard some fussing about this but it has no effect.

LOL so yes, its required and if you can stop it with a nose brake only then that works.

I wouldn't suggest nose wheel only, sounds like a good way to dig in and flip but it's up to you

2. No, it doesn't need wing fences. Mine doesn't have them, it seems to fly the exact same as the half dozen I've flown with them.
