Thanks. I used Bob Violetts's http://www.bvmjets.com/Pages/metal_kote_plus.htm. I undercoated with black to get reflectivity, then air brushed each panel with the metal kote silver....

I like your color scheme on both P51's. Flew my bird this winter (Comp Arf) in paint scheme. Left the tanks, cockpit tub off due to weight issues. 3W twin 80.

I need help. Building Comp-Arf P51, at the point of adding wing tanks. Never used them before. Do they negatively affect performance? I like this thread. Great info.
