in order to achieve CG at 330mm back from leading edge, we have to add about 300g of lead in tail. does this sound right to...

2. do you have a big main float and then 2 small wing tip floats ?

flat fuse mount. we just machined a flat bottom mount, where the top is 5 degrees different from the bottom.

on the note of balooning up, my buddy has his falcon with a JJ1400 mounted at exactly 5 degrees down thrust, and the model climbs slightly on full throttle.
We fized it by mixing 3% down elevator...

It hasnt arrived, its still out of stock.

but should make a real winner !

Oh BTW - its not in the size of an Elan, its the same size as a Baby Boomer (give or take 1-2")

We use a few sets of Airpower 250 retracts and Airpower wheels with brakes, on the Falcon 120s, with great results.

2.75" is an exact fit in the wheel well.

You might opt to use 2.5" with some spare around the wheel in the well.
