I had set the UBEC to 6V, so that shouldn't be the issue. It only had the option for either 5V or 6V output. How have you supplied the retracts with 7.4V whilst only giving 6V to the receiver? ...

Thanks for the info. I did see that JP Hobby now have HV sequencers, which is great. But on their website it says that you need HV servos for gear doors. Maybe I need to have a deeper look into...
