You just have to re-teach the sticks... no need to re-teach the gyro mounting position/orientation. You can select this directly from the Tx without needing to go through relearning the mounting...

it is because the data has to be sent wirelessly to the Rx/Gyro and the Tx has to wait for acknowledgement before it can update its screen....
