Default Taigen 3 pin wire colors help.

Hey there, getting ready to upgrade my Tiger 1 all metal with airsoft recoil. I've got a question about the Taigen "patch wires" to use when upgrading to a hobby grade transmitter and receiver. So we have a positive "red", a negative and a signal wire. Is the black the negative and white the signal wire or is it reversed? Stupid question it seems, but I got thinking about it today and want to make sure I don't fry something. With the positive in the middle for the new receiver I don't know if it matters or not but better to ask them get yelled at by the wife! Thanks guys.

The white is the signal line on the V3 wiring kits from us. On the board the pinout is Signal/5V/Gnd with ground being on the outside of the board and signal on the inside.
