Like you say, if you have everything to hand, it should be an easy assembly.

Received mine mostly unscathed!
seems like the cracking of the fuse at the cutout for the rear hatch tab is a real issue. Not sure if it's just the paint, or I got some repairing to do. Haven't really looked to close. I sent Ray an email about it.
and the tail pipe wasn't preinstalled, just pre shoved in there and not mounted. Is that how it came for everyone else? I also didn't get any mounting hardware for the pipe.

Pipe not mounted, just stuck in there randomly. Normal?

Overall very good quality and fitment for the price. Compared to my pilot rc predator, it's significantly higher quality.

Didn't see an option for a "PRO Plus" with servos(or I probably would have bought it!), just an ARF Plus, with gear, tank, and tailpipe preinstalled. That is the one I got. My gear were installed and mounted, as was the tank. But not the tailpipe.

I added a piece of glass tape accross the seam On the inside of the fuse to be on the safe side. The wood blocks are your mounting hardware if your using the factory pipe.

Hmmm, different than the aluminum angle stock in all the other pictures?

I think it may have been a pre production version, as the Turbine mount is different i.e. it has cut-outs, my version like the one above does not, not that it makes any difference.

Hey Bob, I thought your pipe was scheduled to arrive in the beginning of October according to your post 133, was there an issue with it?

What did he use for power?
I got one wing 100% done including the harness, and servos installed in the other. It's not going as fast as I had hoped, but my motivation to finish it quick went away because I had to cancel going to a jet rally where I was hoping to fly it. Still hope to maiden first weekend in december.

I use a k70 but I reduce 5000rpm to get 6kg thrust.
with full 7kg power is very very fast.

This is good to hear! I am using an 85N turbine and do not plan to detune it.

I love the look of this jet. If the hot flies as good as I anticipate, i might look into a bigger one, but not too big. Imo, 2.2-2.3m is the perfect size for flight characteristics and perception of speed. I have yet to see a 2.6m rebel impress me in the speed category.

The Rebel series was never designed for speed.

That is true, but they are among the sleekest of the sport jets, and look fast just sitting there, so they might as well go fast And that's harder to appear so as the jet gets bigger.

Are you concerned with idle thrust at landing with the 85N turbine?

though it’s not the 85N figure that makes it high, JetCat P-100Rx has less idle thrust than a KT-30!

Yes, the 100RX has one of the lowest idle thrust values I’ve seen to date.
But I don’t think I can put a 100RX into a Rebel Hot !
