I did the advanced setup and saved the settings. One from the latest firmware on my transmitter (does have turbine instead of Jetcat) and not sure what version on the receiver. Any suggestions of what to try next?
Hey Hybris contact Gaspar at [email protected] he should be able to help, I will admit I know very little about telemetry setup and even more so on Spectrum. I run the futaba version on my X45 and once assigned to the proper slot it worked as normal. I still need to setup the fuel telemetry option but works great, you do have version 5 telemetry correct?

Looks you have an old telemetry adapter, for the X45 ecu should be at least version5, the label should say "Specktrum5"

Question for those of you lucky enough to have one of these in your possession
I need to find out the Center Of Gravity of the turbine with FOD screen installed, if you have a X45 that is not installed that you can check it would be appreciated.
Basically a simple way to determine would be to take a ruler (straight edge) and stand on its edge, then take the turbine and try to get it to balance laterally, the measurement from that point to the end of the exhaust cone is what I am looking for.

Now you may ask why do I want this....
I am making a fixture to be used for setting up my CG of my plane and I don't have the turbine yet, so this will be used to simulate the turbine installed.

It's about 75mm, but the engine I have here at home don't have the FOD filter, so surely is a bit more than this.

Thanks Gasper for the quick response!
So it looks like my initial guess was close, hopefully I can get a measurement with the FOD screen

By the way.... I found a really inexpensive way to mass product these...
Just need some 3mm (1/8") light ply

For me, that X45 CG is looking to be 71mm from the tail cone end, with the FOD screen on. Right where the 2nd empty mounting hole (from the front) is.
I know it sounds kinda weird that adding the FOD seems to be going the opposite way of what Gaspar posted w/o FOD, I double checked twice more to be sure before posting this. Hope this helps. Mine does not have the latest elbow connector, is the straight connector version.

That is interesting...
Thank you for taking the time to measure it.

Can anyone measure their fuel pump and get the weight?
I'm planning my install and could use the dimensions.
I can use either metric or imperial measurements.
Thanks in advance

Still hoping that someone can provide the details for the pump drawing in the above post.
I also updated my X-45 installation tool to create a pipe installation guide for the Grumania Jet's Pipe, this sets the distance to the suggested 30 mm setback

Thanks Dave, do you happen to have the mounting hole spacing?
I assume these are M3 threads?

Not from the USA but from Australia.
I manufacture these pipes with or without Grumania Bellmouth.
This one is for Mini Avanti and Dual Wall with Small Bellmouth Entry.
Mounting tabs included.
Email Contact via Jet Products Australia website is best.

I went with the HAB pipe. I'm sure the Grumania pipe is a great choice too.
